The Reason

I’ve been a fan of The Reason since back in the day when they were sporting the moniker Sewing with Nancy, and even more so after we played a few shows together with my band Front Row Center. I’ve really loved the direction they have taken over the last few albums and while I was in Canada I had the chance to shoot them at the Festival of Friends.

Futuro

I finally made it to the Futuro style houses in Wanli, Taiwan. Some of them resembled the infamous houses designed by Finnish architect Matti Suuronen in the late 60′s. Apparently, they were designed to be mass-produced, so they would be cheap enough for anyone to buy, and because they were so light-weight, they would be easily transportable.
Unfortunately the 1973 oil crisis spoiled his plans. Prices of plastic raised production costs too high to be profitable. However, that didn’t stop Taiwan from jumping on board and designing a few themselves.
